Cowboy Ryan and Rowdy the Dog

Who is ready for the THIRD book in my veterinary series???

I know I am! I thought I would provide a little introduction to some of my new characters.

In this book you will meet the charismatic, punchy as ever, handlebar-mustache-wearing, fun-loving Cowboy Ryan!

Why is Cowboy Ryan in this book? Well… how could he not be?!

I have known Ryan for over five years and let me tell you… if you don’t want to die of laughter you should definitely not meet him. Because there is never a dull moment.

Ryan can take a dull, boring story and turn it into a rolling-on-the-floor, laughing-out-loud-until-it-hurts kind of story in about two seconds.

I mentioned he is “punchy.” So if you aren’t from the country and don’t know what this word means let me explain it to you.

Picture this… a cowboy hat with enough dirt on it to fill a sandbox. A handlebar mustache almost as good, if not better than Sam Elliott. And what about those spurs? You can always hear him coming with spurs big enough for a draft horse scuffing the ground as he walks. Oh yeah and let’s not forget about his contagious deep bellied laugh that follows suit.

You can also get a small hint of cow manure if he is approaching you down wind.

If we brought back the old West, I can almost guarantee Cowboy Ryan would fit right in. Well he might be shorter than all the other cowboys, but I won’t go there ;)

The perfect character for my book, right?

What better animal to pair with Cowboy Ryan than “Rowdy” the dog.

Rowdy is a red border collie cow dog in training. He is still young so he has a lot to learn.

What has been Rowdy’s favorite part about being a superstar? Why all of the attention of course! He absolutely loves the kids and showing off his few tricks.
